A: You can reserve a room online through our self-booking system on our website or by calling us directly. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a purchase order, deposit, or credit card guarantee.
Q: Can organizations make reservations?
A: Yes, organizations can reserve by sending a purchase order (PO) to stay@mistissinibnb.com. The PO must be submitted within 24 hours of requesting a reservation to secure the booking.
Q: How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
A: Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. Check-in details, including access instructions, will be sent to the email address used during booking 6 days before your check-in date.
Q: Can I request a specific room?
A: Yes, you may request a specific room, and we will do our best to accommodate your preference. However, specific room requests are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Q: Can I book a one-night stay?
A: One-night stays are not bookable through our online system. If you would like to book for one night, please contact us via email at stay@mistissinibnb.com or call us directly to check if we can accommodate your request.
Q: Can I extend my stay?
A: Yes, you can extend your stay based on availability. If you want to extend before your arrival, let us know as soon as possible. If you are already staying with us, please inform us at least 24 hours before your check-out date, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Payment and Deposits
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, direct deposit, or email money transfer to stay@mistissinibnb.com.
Q: When is payment required?
A: A deposit, purchase order, or credit card guarantee is required to confirm your reservation.
Cancellations
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
- 14 days or more before arrival: Full refund.
- 13 to 6 days before arrival: 50% of the secured reservation amount will be charged.
- Within 6 days of arrival: 100% of the secured reservation amount will be charged.
- Early departures or no-shows: Non-refundable.
Q: Are cancellations allowed due to natural events?
A: Refunds for wildfires, snowstorms, or other natural events are only issued if the city or property requires evacuation. If the event occurs within 72 hours of booking, you may cancel or reschedule free of charge.

Taxes
Q: Are taxes included in the room rate?
A: Quebec taxes are added to the total bill unless you qualify for tax exemption.
Q: How can I qualify for tax exemption?
A: Taxes are waived for:
- Guests who provide a valid Indian status number.
- Guests booking under a recognized Indigenous organization with tax-exemption status.
Q: When do I need to provide proof of tax exemption?
A: Proof of tax exemption must be provided at the time of booking or check-in to qualify.
Q: What happens if I don't provide documentation for tax exemption?
A: Taxes will be applied to your reservation if valid documentation is not presented.
Check-In and Check-Out
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in: From 3:00 pm onward.
- Check-out: By 11:00 am.

A: Your check-in details, including access instructions, will be sent to the email address used for the reservation 6 days before your check-in date.
