Planning a Short Stay?
At MistissiniBnB, bookings are typically for 3 nights or more.
If you're looking to stay for less than 3 nights, please call (514-295-1299) or email us (stay@mistissinibnb.com) directly to check availability.
Q: How can I make a reservation?
A: You can reserve a room online through our self-booking system on our website or by calling us directly. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a purchase order, deposit, or credit card guarantee.
Q: Can organizations make reservations?
A: Yes, organizations can reserve by sending a purchase order (PO) to stay@mistissinibnb.com. The PO must be submitted within 24 hours of requesting a reservation to secure the booking.
Q: How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
A: Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. Check-in details, including access instructions, will be sent to the email address and/or phone number (through text) used during booking 6 days before your check-in date.
Q: Can I request a specific room?
A: Yes, you may request a specific room, and we will do our best to accommodate your preference. However, specific room requests are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Q: Can I book a one-night stay?
A: One-night stays are not bookable through our online system. If you would like to book for one night, please contact us via email at stay@mistissinibnb.com or call us directly to check if we can accommodate your request.
Q: Can I extend my stay?
A: Yes, you can extend your stay based on availability. If you want to extend before your arrival, let us know as soon as possible. If you are already staying with us, please inform us at least 24 hours before your check-out date, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Q: Can my reservation be transferred to someone else?
A: Unfortunately, reservations at our BnB are non-transferable. Each booking is specific to the guest and the original reservation details. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Payment and Deposits
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, direct deposit, or email money transfer to stay@mistissinibnb.com.
Q: When is payment required?
A: A deposit, purchase order, or credit card guarantee is required to confirm your reservation.
Cancellations
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
- 14 days or more before arrival: Full refund.
- 13 to 6 days before arrival: 50% of the secured reservation amount will be charged.
- Within 6 days of arrival: 100% of the secured reservation amount will be charged.
- Early departures or no-shows: Non-refundable.
Q: Are cancellations allowed due to natural events?
A: Refunds for wildfires, snowstorms, or other natural events are only issued if the city or property requires evacuation. If the event occurs within 72 hours of booking, you may cancel or reschedule free of charge.
Q: How do I cancel my reservation?
A: To cancel a reservation, contact us directly through our website or by phone. You will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.
As a small business, each reservation is vital to our ability to operate and serve our guests. Cancellations, especially on short notice, greatly impact us as we may not have the opportunity to rebook the space. We truly appreciate your understanding and support—it allows us to continue delivering memorable experiences to all of our guests.
Q: Can I shorten my stay after check-in or once my reservation has started?
A: No. Once your reservation has begun, you cannot modify the dates to shorten your stay. If you decide to leave earlier than planned, the full amount of your original booking remains due. Your reserved dates were held exclusively for you, and we may have turned away other guests to accommodate your stay. This is a common policy among small accommodations and Airbnb-style businesses, as we operate with limited availability and depend on confirmed bookings. If you wish to cancel and rebook different dates, please note that our cancellation policy will still apply to the original reservation.
Reservation Changes & Date Modifications
Changes to reservation dates are considered a cancellation of the original booking and a new reservation.
- 14+ days before arrival: Changes may be made without penalty, subject to availability.
- 13–6 days before arrival: A change fee equivalent to 50% of the original reservation may apply.
- Within 6 days of arrival: A change fee of up to 100% of the original reservation amount will apply.
At management’s discretion, a reduced change fee (such as one night per room) may be offered as a courtesy.
As a small business with limited availability, last-minute changes significantly impact our ability to rebook rooms that were held exclusively for you.
Check-In and Check-Out
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in: From 3:00 pm onward.
- Check-out: By 11:00 am.
Q: When will I receive check-in details?
A: Your check-in details, including access instructions, will be sent to the email address and/or cellphone number used for the reservation 6 days before your check-in date.
Q: Can I request an early check-in or a late check-out?
A: Early check-ins or late check-outs may be accommodated based on availability. Please inquire at the time of booking or during your stay.
Damages & Liability
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or amenities caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.
MistissiniBnB reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the cost of repair, replacement, or additional cleaning if required. Supporting documentation (photos, invoices, or estimates) will be provided upon request.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, pets are not allowed on the premises.
Q: Can I smoke indoors?
A: No, smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.
Q: Can I host a party or event?
A: Parties or events are not allowed without prior approval.
